Dr. Melissa Babcock
Dr. Melissa Babcock is a board certified dermatologist on staff at Piedmont Hospital and a member of the Piedmont Clinic. She is a graduate of The University of Michigan medical school. She completed her dermatology training in Portland, Oregon at Oregon Heath and Sciences University. Subsequently she completed a fellowship in Mohs surgery and facial reconstruction at The University of California in San Francisco (UCSF).
She moved in the summer of 2007 to Atlanta after spending five years practicing with University Dermatologists in Cleveland Ohio. She is a member of The American Academy of Dermatology, The American College of Mohs Surgery and The American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons.
Dr. Babcock grew up in Michigan, living both in Ann Arbor and the Flint area. She is married to Dr. Vivek Rajagopal, a cardiologist at Piedmont hospital. She and her husband live in Atlanta with their three boys. Her hobbies include reading and learning Spanish.
